JYSK chain opens revamped stores in Ukraine
MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax) - The JYSK international chain opened two renovated stores at the Panorama shopping center (Odessa) and at the Megamarket shopping center (Gatnoye, Kiev region) on Thursday, JYSK Country Director in Ukraine Yevgeny Ivanitsa said.
"JYSK continues to invest money in revamping Ukrainian stores. Today, we are opening the doors of two renovated JYSK stores in Odessa and Gatnoye at once," Ukrainian media quoted him as saying on social media.
Currently, 97 stores and the online store jysk.ua are operating in Ukraine. There are plans to reach the level of 100 stores by the end of 2024. Candidate cities where the 100th store will be opened have been preliminarily determined. It will be either Kalush or Krivoi Rog already in August.
JYSK has over 800 employees in Ukraine.
JYSK is a part of the family Lars Larsen Group with over 3,400 stores in 48 countries. JYSK's revenue in the 2022-2023 fiscal year totaled 5.2 billion euros.
