Yandex.Drive appoints new CEO

MOSCOW. July 17 (Interfax) - Yandex.Carsharing LLC, the legal entity of the Yandex.Drive service, has appointed Kirill Lunev, who was previously director of the company's analytics service, as its new CEO.

Data in the Unified State Registry of Legal Entities (USRLE) indicate that the corresponding appointment was registered on July 16.

The company's press service has confirmed the appointment of the new CEO to Interfax, specifying that Lunev has been working at Yandex for 10 years, five of which were with the Drive team, where he directed the group for efficiency and machine learning, and then the analytics service.

The previous CEO, Sergei Kovalev, had led Yandex.Drive since March 2023. The press service has not specified whether Kovalev has left the company.
