Neis Group to build truck parts plant in Rostov Region for 700 mln rubles

YEKATERINBURG. July 9 (Interfax) - Neis Engineering LLC, a division of Neis Group, plans to build a plant in Rostov Region to manufacture truck parts at a cost of 700 million rubles, the region's deputy governor, Igor Sorokin told Interfax.

The agreement on the project was signed at the Innoprom-2024 international exhibition in Yekaterinburg. The plant will be built at the Novocherkassk industrial park.

"As part of the investment project there are plans to create import-substituting production of eco filters, plastic elements and fittings for towed vehicles," Sorokin said. The plant will be outfitted with equipment with automated and semi-automated lines to manufacture fuel and oil filters, he said.

Neis Engineering manufactures oil, gasoline and suction air filters for internal combustion engines. The company is 90% owned by Neis Service, a Rostov Region vehicle servicing and repair company, and 10% by Bogdan Khmelnitsky, who also owns a company engaged in engineering surveys, design and engineering, construction project management and technical consulting services in these fields, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities showed.

Neis Group, according to its website, has been doing business since 2011, providing freight transport services and products. The company has a presence in Rostov on Don, Stavropol, Astrakhan, Krasnodar, Novorossiysk and Mineralnye Vody.
