Sergei Belyakov steps down as Ozon managing director
MOSCOW. July 9 (Interfax) - Ozon managing director Sergei Belyakov is stepping down, a source close to the Russian online marketplace told Interfax.
The company's press service confirmed this, saying that Belyakov has decided to "continue his career outside of Ozon."
Belyakov joined Ozon in the summer of 2021 and oversaw government relations, among other areas. Before joining the company, he worked at the Economic Development Ministry and Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Ozon said nothing will change in the management of the business. Ozon switched management from a single CEO to a collegial management body that includes key senior executives in 2022. Its composition is not disclosed.
Ozon said Belyakov's team at the company will continue to support all projects and initiatives related to government relations.
