Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada again elected chairman of Rosneft board of directors
MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada has again been elected chairman of the board of directors at Rosneft , the Russian oil company says on its website.
The board of directors elected at the AGM on June 28 was unchanged from the previous one. It includes: Andrei Akimov, Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprombank; Pedro A. Aquino, Jr., CEO of Oil & Petroleum Holdings International Resources Limited, Independent Director (Philippines); Faisal Alsuwaidi, representative of Qatar Investments; Hamad Rashid Al-Mohannadi, representative of Qatar Investments Authority; Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada - Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Doha University for Science and Technology, member of the Board of Directors of Nesma Infrastructure & Technology, member of the Advisory Committee of the GCC Supreme Council, Independent Director (State of Qatar); Viktor Martynov, Rector of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas (National Research University), Independent Director; Alexander Nekipelov, Director of the Moscow School of Economics at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Independent Director; Alexander Novak, Deputy Russian Prime Minister; Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Russian President's Administration; Govind Kottieth Satish, Managing Director of Value Prolific Consulting Services Private Limited, Independent Director (India); and Igor Sechin, Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Management Board of Rosneft Oil Company.
Rosneft's largest shareholders are state-owned JSC Rosneftegaz with a 40.4% stake, BP Russian Investments Limited with 19.75%, and Qatar's QH Oil Investments LLC with 18.46%. RN-NeftKapitalInvest holds a 9.6% stake and RN-Capital LLC holding has 0.76%.
