Sergei Radkov named head of Rosgeo

MOSCOW. July 8 (Interfax) - The acting CEO of Rosgeo, Sergei Radkov has been named head of the Russian state exploration company.

"In accordance with a directive of the Russian government, the Federal Property Management Agency issued an order to elect Sergei Alexandrovich Radkov CEO of joint-stock company Rosgeo as of June 26, 2024. Sergei Radkov will also head the holding's management board," the company said.

Radkov, who previously served as head of solid mineral resources at Rosgeo, became acting CEO on April 1, 2024 after the expiration of the contract of his predecessor Sergei Gorkov. It was reported earlier that Gorkov will stay on at the company as a member of its management board.

Rosgeo includes more than 40 geological enterprises that operate in various parts of Russia and abroad, conducting all manner of geological exploration work, from regional surveys for all types of mineral resources to calculating reserves and putting deposits into operation. The company also has unique competencies in the area of marine geology and working on the continental shelf.
