Putin accepts Tokayev's invitation to visit Kazakhstan in Nov

ASTANA. July 3 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to visit Kazakhstan in November 2024.

Tokayev and Putin met in the presidential center of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Wednesday evening. During the meeting, Tokayev suggested the Russian leader pay another visit to Kazakhstan in November 2024 and combine it with attendance of the session of the supreme council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

"I believe it's just necessary, to maintain the current pace of cooperation between our countries. I hope to see you again, already on a state visit to our country," Tokayev said.

"I want to thank you for the invitation to pay a state visit to Kazakhstan. Of course, it is the most rational to do so in connection with the CSTO summit. I thank you for the invitation, it is undoubtedly accepted," Putin said.
