UN World Food Program's office to continue operations in Ukraine
MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has approved the extension of an agreement with the United Nations World Food Program (WFP) on the operations of its office in Ukraine, Ukrainian media have reported citing a statement on the government's official website.
"A draft agreement between the Ukrainian government and the World Food Program (WFP) on extending the validity of the agreement between the Ukrainian government and the WFP and on opening a WFP office in Ukraine shall be approved," the government's directive dated June 28, 2024 said.
Ukrainian Ambassador to Italy Yaroslav Melnik has been authorized to sign the agreement, it said.
