SPB Exchange shareholders vote to waive dividends for 2023
MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - The shareholders of PJSC SPB Exchange , during the annual general meeting held in absentia on June 28, voted to waive dividends on ordinary shares based on the results for 2023, the trading platform said.
The shareholders also approved the annual report and elected nine members to the exchange's board of directors, about whom information has not been disclosed in line with the restriction on sensitive corporate information, as permitted by current legislation.
The SPB Exchange said in the prospectus for the IPO held in November 2021 that the platform does not plan to pay out dividends in the near future, and does intend to use the proceeds to finance business expansion.
SPB Exchange CEO Yevgeny Serdyukov, during an interview with RBC in May this year, said that the exchange was ready to consider the matter of amending its dividend policy in 2025.
