Aeroflot plans to resume flights to Seychelles in October
MOSCOW. July 2 (Interfax) - Aeroflot plans to resume flights to the Seychelles in October this year, the flagship airline said on its Telegram channel.
"Flights will resume from Moscow on October 2, using wide-body Airbus A350 aircraft with economy, comfort, and business classes," Aeroflot said.
Aeroflot will operate two flights per week until October 26, then the airline plans to increase the frequency of flights to the islands to three times per week during the winter seasonal schedule from October 28, 2024, to March 29, 2025.
As reported in April, Aeroflot had canceled ticket sales for flights from Moscow to Mahé, Seychelles, departing after May 15. The company had previously said that the flight program in the spring-summer schedule, from April until the end of October, included flights to Mahé.
Aeroflot had previously suspended flights to the Seychelles after February 24, 2022, and the sanctions imposed against Russia that followed the date. Flights resumed in autumn of the same year.
