Ukrainian govt knows how to finance budget expenditures in 2025 - PM Shmygal

MOSCOW. July 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government understands how budget needs can be covered in 2025, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"All those things [agreements with partners] give us the understanding that we can cover budget deficit and finance all of our domestic needs not only this year, but we also see prospects for 2025 and understand how we will finance all budget needs," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying in televised remarks last Friday.

All social and budget payments are being provided for owing to support from partners and cooperation programs, he said.

"I'd like to stress that we have paid, are paying, and will fully pay all social payments, such as pensions, subsidies, and all [other] funds that we are supposed to pay to Ukrainians, both this year and, as far as we can see, next year," he said.
