Armenia intends to attend NATO summit in Washington - Armenian Foreign Ministry

YEREVAN. June 28 (Interfax) - Armenia has confirmed its participation in the meeting between partners at the NATO summit and the 75th NATO summit, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan told Interfax.

"Armenia received an invitation and confirmed its participation," Badalyan said.

James O'Brien, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, told reporters in Baku earlier on Friday Azerbaijan and Armenia had been invited to the NATO meeting at the level of foreign ministers that will be held in Washington on July 9-11.

He also said Washington is ready to organize a new meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the United States.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said in this regard that "there are no other agreements at this moment."
