Ukrgasvydobuvannya pays 9.85 bln hryvni in gas rent to budget in Jan-May 2024
MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian gas producer JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya (UGV) transferred 9.85 billion hryvni in rent payments to the country's budget in January-May 2024, Ukrainian media said, citing the company's press service.
Of this amount, 492.87 million hryvni, or 5%, were paid to regional budgets and the budgets of territories where Ukrgasvydobuvannya operates, it said.
A total of 253.8 million hryvni were paid to the budget of the Kharkov region, 197.3 million hryvni to the budget of the Poltava region, 20.7 million hryvni to the budget of the Lvov region, 9.8 million hryvni to the budget of the Dnepropetrovsk region, and 11.1 million hryvni to the budgets of other regions.
As reported, UGV's production of (marketable) natural gas dropped 3% to 12.5 billion cubic meters in 2022 year-on-year. It produced 13.224 bcm of gas in 2023, 0.679 bcm more than in 2022.
Naftogaz owns 100% of UGV.
