Putin reappoints Shuvalov as VEB CEO for another five years
MOSCOW. June 26 (Interfax) - VEB CEO Igor Shuvalov has been reappointed as director of the government corporation for another five-year term, according to Russian President Vladimir Putin's corresponding decree posted on the official portal of legal information on Wednesday.
"Appoint Igor Ivanovich Shuvalov as CEO of the VEB.RF government corporation for development for a five-year term," according to the decree.
The decree was signed on June 26 and enters into force on the day of signing.
Shuvalov has held various senior positions over the years in the Russian presidential administration and federal government. He was appointed VEB CEO in May 2018 from the position of first deputy prime minister.
