UK lifts sanctions on Alexei Filippovsky, added to list as Alrosa top manager

MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax) - The United Kingdom has lifted sanctions on former CFO of Russia's Alrosa Alexei Filippovsky, the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation said in a statement.

Alrosa closed access to information on its top management in the spring of 2022. Filippovsky stopped working for Alrosa in the first half of 2022, an informed source said.

Filippovsky, who became Alrosa's deputy general director in August 2017, was added to the UK sanctions list on February 22, 2022. Before joining Alrosa, he held the post of Siberian Generating Company CFO. Prior to that, he worked for SIBUR for nine years.
