Russia and Iran to actively advance transport, energy projects

MOSCOW. June 24 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Rudenko and acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani met on the sidelines of an Asia Cooperation Dialogue ministerial meeting in Tehran.

"The parties reaffirmed their mutual commitment to further intensifying interaction in all priority areas, including those related to advancing joint infrastructure projects in transport and energy," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement published on its website.

They also exchanged views on key bilateral and international issues, the statement said.
