Blinken describes U.S. strategy on Ukraine as effective
BRUSSELS. June 18 (Interfax) - U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday said that Washington and its allies' strategy in relation to Ukraine, being implemented for more than two years, has been a success, and expressed hope that Kiev will continue to receive support following the NATO summit, which is due to be held on July 9-11.
"The bottom line is this, the Ukraine strategy that we've had and that we've been acting on individually and collectively now for nearly two and a half years is showing effective results," Blinken said at a press conference that he attended together with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The upcoming NATO summit in July must ensure further support for Ukraine and lead the country to a success, he said.
