TCS Holding decides to rebrand Tinkoff Bank as TBank
MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - The sole shareholder of Tinkoff Bank JSC has decided to change its name to TBank JSC, the bank said in a statement.
The changes are planned to be made to the bank's charter and other documents necessary for the state to register the adjustments.
TCS Holding, which includes Tinkoff Bank, announced at the beginning of June that it had changed the credit institution's name. "The Tinkoff brand is evolving into the T-Bank brand," the group said.
It is assumed that the Tinkoff Investment brokerage firm will change its name to T-Investment and Tinkoff Insurance will rebrand as T-Insurance.
The holding plans to scale its business to international markets, and it believes the new brand will become a universal solution for this purpose.
The brand update will roll out gradually. The group will update the bank's website and mobile app first, followed by all legal names, card, ATM and envelope designs.
Tinkoff Bank updated its logo in February 2024. Instead of the coat of arms, a letter "T" is now depicted on a yellow background.
