Belarus, Azerbaijan, Turkey deliver 415.5 million eggs to Russia as on June 16 - Rosselkhoznadzor

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - Belarus, Azerbaijan and Turkey had supplied 415.5 million eggs to Russia as on June 16, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) said.

Rosselkhoznadzor said that Belarus was the main supplier by delivering 332.6 million eggs, growth of 2.5-fold year-on-year from 130.3 million eggs the previous year.

Azerbaijan shipped 47.7 million eggs, and Turkey delivered 35.2 million eggs.

Specifically, Turkey supplied 950,400 eggs and Azerbaijan shipped 918,000 eggs from June 10 to 16 through the Yarag-Kazmalyar checkpoint. Additionally, 875,520 eggs from Turkey arrived through the port of Novorossiysk.

All products have been tested and meet Russian requirements, Rosselkhoznadzor said.
