Ukraine's pharma market may grow 20% in 2024 - forecast

MOSCOW. June 18 (Interfax) - The pharmaceutical marketof Ukraine may grow 20% in value in 2024 if the situation does not worsen seriously, head of Ukraine's Association of Medication Producers Pyotr Bagry said.

"At the moment, we see an insignificant increase in consumption of medications in packaging. I hope that, if no considerable deterioration occurs, we as the pharmaceutical market will grow 20% in value," Ukrainian media quoted Bagry as saying in a commentary.

Bagry also anticipates a 20% rise in Ukrainian pharmaceutical exports this year.

"I tentatively estimate this growth at 20% as well," he said.
