Russia to analyze Georgian party's call for visa-free system - Peskov
MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Russian authorities will analyze the Georgian party Solidarity for Peace's call for a visa-free system with Russia and liberalized terms for Georgian labor migrants, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
"To be frank, I have not seen [the call], but if it has been made, we will look at it and of course, our respective agencies will analyze it," Peskov told reporters on Monday.
Mamuka Pipia, international secretary of the Solidarity for Peace party that has no seats in the Georgian parliament, called on Russian President Vladimir Putin at a party congress to create a visa-free system with Russia, carry out an amnesty of Georgian citizens who have broken visa regulations, and liberalize the terms for Georgian labor migrants in Russia.
