Ukraine signs memorandum with DFC, Citibank to develop mortgage market
MOSCOW. June 14 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Economy Ministry has signed a cooperation memorandum with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and Citibank to develop the domestic mortgage market.
As reported by Ukrainian media, Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister, Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko, DFC CEO Scott Nathan and Citibank Managing Director Julie Monaco signed the memorandum at the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) in Berlin.
The memorandum will help attract grants and long-term funding for mortgage housing programs, including eOselia, the Economy Ministry said in a press release.
As reported, a memorandum on cooperation in affordable housing was also signed by the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company and the Japan Housing Finance Agency at URC2024.
