Kazakhstan will fulfill its obligations to OPEC+, maintaining oil production plans - Energy Ministry

ASTANA. June 13 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan will not change its oil production plans and will be able to fulfill its obligations within OPEC+, Energy Minister Almasadam Satkaliyev told Interfax.

"In general, we have formulated our production plan with our OPEC obligations in mind. There are obligations, but there is also a maintenance and modernization program [at the fields], as well as a certain reduction in production due to flooding. Together, all these measures will allow us to fulfill our OPEC+ obligations while maintaining our preliminary plans for production volumes," Satkaliyev said on the sidelines of parliament on Thursday.
