EBRD to allocate 65 mln euros to three Ukrainian cities to reconstruct water supply, heating systems

BERLIN. June 11 (Interfax) - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will allocate 65 million euros overall in loan financing in order to resolve the issues of water supplies in the city of Nikolayev and heating in the cities of Kharkov and Lutsk, Ukrainian media reported, citing the relevant agreements signed on Tuesday at the Ukraine Recovery Conference, URC2024, in Berlin.

The funds should particularly resolve the issue of restoring water supplies in Nikolayev, where salt water has corroded the water pipes.
