Ukraine needs up to $30 bln annual investment in next 10 years - PM
MOSCOW. June 11 (Interfax) - Ukraine needs from $10 billion to $30 billion in annual investments in the next ten years, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"The multilateral coordination donor platform had a meeting today [on Tuesday] as part of the Recovery Conference in Berlin. It was the first time at the ministerial level," Ukrainian media quoted him as saying on social media.
This refers primarily to Ukraine's financial sustainability, he said.
"It is important for us that the support of partners is predictable, fast-paced and sustainable. We need recovery, access to foreign markets and improved logistics. We need foreign investment and technology transfer from our partners. Ukraine requires from $10 billion to $30 billion in annual investments in the next ten years," Shmygal said.
Shmygal noted that the energy sector needs special support.
