Director of Regional Industrial Policy Department Kulikov appointed new Russian deputy minister of Industry and Trade
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - Director of the Regional Industrial Policy Department of Russia's Industry and Trade Ministry Ivan Kulikov became the new deputy minister. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order on June 6.
His direct supervisor, the Ministry of Industry and Trade's curator of regional industrial policy, deputy minister Alexei Besprozvannykh, recently left to head the Kaliningrad region (the appointment occurred after the region's former governor Anton Alikhanov was appointed Minister of Industry and Trade).
Kulikov was born in 1983 in Ust-Kut, Irkutsk region. He worked in the administration of the Krasnodar region from 2008-2022, including spending the last two years as head of the regional industrial policy department. He moved to a similar position in the Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2022.
