France intends to allocate 200 million euro to companies for investment in Ukrainian infrastructure - Macron
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - France will allocate 200 million euro to enterprises that will invest in the restoration of critical infrastructure in Ukraine, while 60 million euro of these funds will be directed to the Ukrainian energy sector, Ukrainian media reported, citing French President Emmanuel Macron.
"We held a meeting at the level of the Reconstruction Fund and decided that new instruments will be created in order to take part in the restoration of Ukraine. An agreement was signed for a fund of 200 million euro, which will be intended for those enterprises that will invest in Ukraine's critical infrastructure for its restoration," Macron said during a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine in Paris, broadcast on YouTube.
The French President also announced a decision to expand the mandate of the French Development Agency to support projects in Ukraine at the local level. A decision was made to send 20 French technical experts to key Ukrainian ministries.
