Pope receives head of Ukrainian presidential office
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - Pope Francis has received head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andrei Yermak, and they discussed preparations for a conference in Switzerland.
"During a working visit to Italy, I was received by His Holiness Pope Francis at the Vatican. It was an important conversation," Ukrainian media quoted Yermak as saying on his social account last Saturday.
They also talked about preparations for the upcoming conference in Switzerland, he said.
Yermak also met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, secretary of state of the Holy See. He stressed the importance of the cardinal's upcoming visit to Ukraine.
