Power consumption limits to be in effect for each Ukrainian region on Wed - Ukrenergo

MOSCOW. June 5 (Interfax) - Ukrenergo set power consumption limits for all Ukrainian regions between 12 a.m. and midnight on Wednesday due to the persisting shortage of power grid resources.

Distribution system operators (regional energy companies) will apply hourly power outage schedules to meet the limits, Ukrainian media said on Tuesday evening, citing an Ukrenergo statement on a social network.

Emergency power outages are possible for all categories of clients if the power consumption limits are exceeded, Ukrenergo said.
