Putin accepts Khorokhordin's resignation, appoints Turchak acting head of Republic of Altai - order
MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed an executive order appointing Andrei Turchak acting head of the Republic of Altai.
The order was published on the official website of legal information.
According to the order, Putin accepted the resignation of head of the Republic of Altai Oleg Khorokhordin.
"Andrei Anatolyevich Turchak is to be appointed acting head of the Republic of Altai until the person elected head of the Republic of Altai takes office," the order said.
