Russian FM, Republic of Congo president holding one-to-one talks

OYO, Republic of the Congo. June 4 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is holding negotiations with President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso.

Lavrov and Sassou Nguesso exchanged cordial greetings at the beginning of negotiations at the presidential residence in Oyo. Lavrov conveyed warm greetings from Moscow. "This place gives rest for the soul," he told Sassou Nguesso.

The meeting began in a one-to-one format, which will be followed by expanded talks.
