Federal state of emergency owing to frosts could be implemented in Russia by end of week - Agriculture Minister
MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - The Russian government could implement a federal state of emergency by the end of the week owing to the frosts, the Agriculture Ministry said.
"We expect a state of emergency to be declared by the end of the week. We have already filed an appeal with the Emergency Situations Ministry. Accordingly, we are expecting a committee. We really hope that the matter is resolved by the end of the week," Agriculture Minister Oksana Luth told Interfax.
