OPEC+ format helping stabilize global energy markets - Peskov

MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - OPEC+ is an important format that helps stabilize global energy markets, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We believe that this is a very important format, and there are very important agreements which contribute to the stabilization and predictability of global energy markets," Peskov told reporters on Monday commenting on the outcome of the latest OPEC+ summit, which extended the agreement on oil production cuts throughout 2025.

"We are actively taking part in this dialogue and have a very responsible stance. We appreciate our interaction with partners in this dialogue. Naturally, every decision made is a product of our consensus and agreements," he said.
