NNK subsidiary discovers two more hydrocarbon fields in Samara region

MOSCOW. May 30. INTERFAX - NNK-Samaraneftegaz LLC (a subsidiary of Eduard Khudainatov's NNK Oil and Gas company) has received licenses for the Nogai and Valuevsky hydrocarbon blocks in the Samara region. This information has been published in the state register of subsoil areas and licenses.

"The licenses were granted in connection with the establishment of the discovery of deposits," the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources told Interfax.

The licenses are valid through May 29, 2044.

NNK-Samaraneftegaz has received licenses on the same basis for seven areas in the Samara region since April 2023: Yuzhno-Kameliksky (in January 2024), Osinovsky (in December), Yuzhno-Shumovsky and Central (in October), Torshilovsky (in September), Prigranichny and Severo-Kovalevsky sections (in April 2023). Most of them are located close to the assets the company is developing.

Including the latest license, NNK-Samaraneftegaz manages 79 hydrocarbon areas, 77 of which are in the Samara region, as well as one each in the Saratov and Orenburg regions.
