Talks on Tajik-Russian cooperation in migration affairs held in Dushanbe

DUSHANBE. May 29 (Interfax) - The second round of talks on Tajik-Russian cooperation in migration affairs has taken place in Dushanbe, the Tajik Interior Ministry's press center said.

Tajik Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Kolokoltsev chaired the negotiations, which also involved Tajik Labor, Migration and Employment Minister Gulnora Hasanzoda.

"The negotiations addressed the legal status of labor migrants, coordination of statistical data regarding labor migration of Tajik citizens, temporarily working in the Russian Federation, organized departures of labor migrants for the Russian Federation, and broader cooperation in the development of primary and secondary vocational education and training," the press center said.
