Ukraine's Nova Poshta launches mail services between European countries

MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Nova Poshta company, operating under the Nova Post brand outside the country, has launched postal services between the European countries where the Nova Post offices are located.

Services are available in all countries of the company's operation, except for Moldova, Romania, and the United Kingdom, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to Nova Poshta's press service on Friday.

"Our mission is an ease of delivery for life and business. This is why we're not only increasing our network, but also extending the list of our services. As of today, Nova Post links not just the European Union with Ukraine, but also the European countries among themselves, ensuring a fast, safe and easy delivery in the period starting from two days," Nova Poshta owner Vladimir Popereshnyuk said.

Nova Poshta clients from the European countries can send documents, parcels or cargoes under 100 kilograms to other foreign branches of the company. Mail is delivered to an office, an address, an automated parcel locker, or a self-pickup point. Delivery prices depend on the weight of a parcel and the distance between the countries. The price of sending a parcel weighting two kilograms from Poland to Italy via a Nova Post office will reach 43 Polish zloty, and to Spain 65 Polish zloty. Courier services will cost additional ten Polish zloty, the Nova Poshta press service said.

International deliveries could also be ordered using digital tools, including a multi-language website, a mobile app, and a business account, the press service said.

Nova Poshta earlier opened two Nova Post offices in the United Kingdom and, recently, on April 30, in Spain.

Nova Poshta has over 35,000 offices in Europe for sending and receiving parcels, of which 90 are Nova Post's own offices in 13 countries, such as Estonia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Moldova, Spain, and the UK.
