Liaoning Lide, founded in 2002, manufactures equipment for the energy sector and has been working actively in Central Asia for the past six years, the press service said. The company has begun building wind farms in Uzbekistan and a "similar project is also possible in Sughd region," it said.

"The region is known as the 'valley of opportunities' and a number of programs and projects are being implemented to develop the economic and social sphere. Hundreds of small and large businesses work here and demand for electricity is growing," Ahmadzoda was quoted as saying in the press release.
