Azerbaijan lagged behind OPEC+ oil production quota by 75,000 bpd in April

BAKU. May 16 (Interfax) - Oil production in Azerbaijan reached 476,000 bpd in April 2024 versus 481,000 bpd in March, the Energy Ministry said.

"Daily oil production with condensate in Azerbaijan was 596,000 barrels in April 2024 (versus 605,000 barrels in March), of which oil production was 476,000 barrels, and condensate 120,000 barrels (versus 124,000 barrels in March)," the ministry said.

Azerbaijan's oil production quota under the OPEC+ deal for 2024 is 551,000 bpd. Therefore, Azerbaijan fulfilled the OPEC+ deal 115.8% in April [it lagged behind the OPEC+ quota by 75,000 bpd].
