State Duma approves Shadayev for Russian digital development minister
MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The State Duma approved the candidacy of Maksut Shadayev for the post of Russian digital development, communications and mass media minister on Tuesday.
Shadayev has held this post since 2020.
Before joining the Russian government, Shadayev served as Rostelecom's vice president for digital platforms from 2018, also combining it with the post of JSC RT Labs general director from 2019 to January 2020.
Shadayev was born in 1979 and graduated from Moscow State Social University of the Labor and Social Protection Ministry. He worked in IT companies from 1999 to 2004.
