State Duma endorses Lyubimova as Russian culture minister

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The State Duma endorsed Olga Lyubimova as a candidate for Russian culture minister on Tuesday.

Lyubimova answered members' questions at the plenary session.

She also briefed members of the State Duma Culture Committee on the program for the Culture Ministry's main areas of activity before the plenary session. This includes, among other things, revamping the infrastructure of museums, theaters, libraries, clubs, children's art schools, and small cinemas, implementing the program dealing with rural cultural workers from 2025, and expanding the Pushkin Card project.
