USAID AGRO, ESKA Capital offer digital leasing service to Ukrainian farmers

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - The USAID AGRO program in cooperation with the ESKA Capital leasing company is inviting micro and small farms which have been created or have relocated recently to use an online digital leasing platform to receive financing for agricultural machinery, Ukrainian media said, citing the company's press service.

The new service allows farmers to submit documents online via this platform, also using an electronic digital signature. Funds to be provided via the platform can be spent both on agricultural machinery, cars, trucks, commercial vehicles, semi-trailers, and specialized machines.

Farmers willing to take advantage of this program can submit an application via the ESKA Capital website and choose a type of transport for financing. After that, they will be advised on the terms for such cooperation, and an individual payment schedule will be drawn up. A reply confirming their funding will be received within the next 24 hours, including a link for uploading all necessary documents. The leasing company is ready to deliver machinery on request. The leasing period is 12 to 48 months.

ESKA Capital also offers a leaseback mechanism to Ukrainian farmers.

"This is an optimal option that enables the prompt receipt of working capital, which can be immediately be spent on developing new avenues, improving ongoing processes and updating their stock of agricultural machines," it said.

In addition, agricultural companies that are legal entities can lease automobiles or machinery with zero advance payments if there is property to be pledged.

ESKA Capital, established in 2008 and headquartered in Kiev, is a universal leasing company that finances acquisitions of agricultural machinery, trucks, construction equipment, cars, commercial vehicles and specialized machines by micro and small businesses. The company's charter capital is 200,000 hryvni. Its beneficiary is Alexander Goncharuk (100%).
