China boosts imports of Russian ice cream six-fold to over 276 tonnes in Q1 2024 - Agroexport

MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - China boosted imports of Russian ice cream six-fold year-on-year to over 276 tonnes in Q1 2024, the Agriculture Ministry's Agroexport center said, citing data from the State Technical University of the People's Republic of China.

"This is already more than 70% of the total supply for all of 2023. Last year, about 392 tonnes were shipped to China," according to the statement.

Russia is among the top 10 countries that exports ice cream to China, Agroexport said.
