State Duma endorses Trutnev as deputy PM overseeing Russia's Far East, Arctic region

MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - The State Duma endorsed Yury Trutnev as Russian deputy prime minister on Monday. Trutnev will retain his post in the new Russian government and will continue to oversee the socioeconomic development of Russia's Far East and Arctic region.

Trutnev will coordinate the work of federal executive bodies in exercising Russia's state policy for the socioeconomic development of its Far Eastern and Arctic regions, the development of Russia's priority territories, and the establishment and functioning of free and special economic zones and advanced development territories.
