Number of flooded homes falls from 4,000 to 3,000 in Russia over past week - Emergency Situations Ministry
MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - Over 3,000 homes, more than 15,000 household plots, 36 low bridges and 112 road sections remain flooded in 13 Russian regions, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry's press service said on Monday.
On May 6, the press service reported the flooding of 4,000 homes, more than 17,800 household plots, 45 low bridges and 84 road sections in 18 constituent territories
"The spring flood in the Irtysh river in the Omsk region and the ice drift in the Lena river and its tributaries in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are being monitored," it said.
