Duma committees to meet with candidates for posts in new Russian govt on May 12
MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - The committees of the Russian State Duma will hold meetings with candidates for ministerial posts in Russia's new government on May 12, Culture Committee head Yelena Yampolskaya said.
"May 12, Sunday, is a working day for the committees, for meetings with the new ministers. [...] Timing-wise, I cannot say anything now, because a unified time schedule is being drawn up," Yampolskaya said at a committee meeting on Monday.
The schedule is being compiled "in order to enable representatives of all factions to take part in the work of every committee and to meet as many newly appointed or reappointed heads of federal agencies as possible," she said.
