VK acquires 40% in Intickets.ru ticketing service

MOSCOW. May 3 (Interfax) - VK has acquired 40% in Intickets, which operates the Intickets.ru cloud service that oversees and manages the sale of tickets for cultural and entertainment events, the IT holding said.

VK has not disclosed the transaction amount.

"The deal should allow VK, as a trusted information system, to implement developing the Pushkin Card, specifically improving the efficiency of the program and ensuring security for participant card users, cultural organizations and ticket operators," the IT holding said.

As per the government resolution, VK performs the functions of a trusted information system as part of the Pushkin Card state program, which allows young people to visit theaters, cinemas, museums, exhibitions, philharmonic concerts and other cultural institutions free of charge.

Intickets.ru is a professional product that automates business processes with a set of tools for managing the full sales cycle in cultural institutions, ticket agents and organizers.

According to data in the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, Intickets LLC was registered in 2015. The company boosted revenue 1.7-fold to 578.2 million rubles and net profit 1.9-fold to 174.9 million rubles in 2023.
