Heads of Gazprom and SOCAR meet for second time this year

MOSCOW. April 26 (Interfax) - A working meeting between Chairman of the Board of Gazprom PJSC Alexey Miller and President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovshan Najaf took place on Friday.

"The parties discussed issues of interaction between the companies in the gas sector," Gazprom said in a statement.

The meeting took place in St. Petersburg at the Gazprom office in the Lakhta Center skyscraper, photographs from the statement show.

This is the second meeting of the two company leaders since the beginning of 2024; the previous meeting took place on February 28. Miller and Najaf met three times in 2023 (according to references in Gazprom communications).
