Vladislav Baiguzhin named Kazatomprom's Chief Director for Commerce

ASTANA. April 25 (Interfax) - Vladislav Baiguzhin has assumed the role of Chief Commercial Director at the Kazatomprom National Atomic Company and has been appointed to the company's board, a company press release said.

"Following the decision by the Kazatomprom board of directors, Vladislav Baiguzhin, who commenced his tenure as Chief Commercial Director on April 22, 2024, has been elected as a board member effective April 24, 2024," the statement said.

Dastan Kosherbayev, the former Chief Commercial Officer, transitioned in early April to the newly created role of Chief Strategy and International Development Director within the company.

Baiguzhin brings over 12 years of extensive experience in senior procurement and business support roles within the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies. Prior to his appointment at Kazatomprom, he held the position of Director of Methodology, Control, and Monitoring of Procurement at Samruk-Kazyna.

The board of Kazatomprom now consists of Chairman Meirzhan Yusupov, Chief Director for Economics and Finance Sultan Temirbayev, Chief Director for Production Kuanysh Omarbekov, Chief Director for Strategy and International Development Dastan Kosherbayev, Chief Director for Commerce Vladislav Baiguzhin, Chief Director for Legal Support and Corporate Governance Ermek Kuantyrov, and Chief Director for Procurement and General Issues Darkhan Sagindykov.

At the request of the majority shareholder of Samruk-Kazyna, the company's board of directors has decided to amend the recommended commencement date for distributing dividends based the financial results for 2023. This amendment is subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) scheduled for May 23, 2024. Pending AGM approval, dividend payments for 2023 will commence on May 28, 2024.
