SCAT to launch Astana - Prague flights from May 22

ASTANA. April 24 (Interfax) - The Kazakh airline SCAT will resume flights between Astana and Prague starting May 22, the press service of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan said.

Flights will be operated twice a week (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) on Boeing 737 aircraft designed to carry 186-189 passengers.

Currently there are no direct flights between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic.

SCAT is one of the largest Kazakhstani airlines. Its aircraft fleet consists of Western-made aircraft. The airline operates more than 80 domestic and international air routes.
