Ukraine opens embassy to Rwanda

MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Ukraine has officially opened its embassy to Rwanda, Ukrainian media have reported with reference to the Foreign Ministry.

Ukraine's Special Representative for the Middle East and Africa Maxim Subkh paid a working visit to Kigali as part of a tour of several African countries to officially inaugurate Ukraine's embassy to Rwanda.

The ceremony was also attended by Rwandan Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ministry Permanent Secretary Clementine Mukeka, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Rwanda, members of the press and the business community.

During his visit, Subkh met with Rwandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Vincent Biruta to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation and interaction within international organizations.

Subkh also conveyed Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba's personal message to Biruta.
